The 10 funniest jokes of all time, according to kids, were revealed during a January poll.
Classic quips ranked highly in the poll that was decided by 2,000 British children aged between seven and 12.
The joke in the top spot was: “Why was the sand wet? Because the sea weed” while other top 10 entrants included the timeless: “What do you call a blind dinosaur? Doyouthinkhesaurus."
The research was conducted by Beano.com who is launching a new national joke competition to find the funniest classroom in Britain.

The top three classes, which will be voted for by Beano’s gag maker experts as well as readers, will each win a bundle of the comic's annuals, subscriptions and a special VIP Beano visit and joke workshop.
