1. UK banks get their test results. The Bank of England releases the results of stress tests that predict whether British banks can withstand financial shocks. All seven lenders passed the test but RBS and Standard Chartered were they weakest. Both only passed the tests because of steps they took to raise capital strength.

2.    European manufacturing data is to be released between 8.45 am and 9.00 am on Tuesday. We'll get manufacturing PMIs from Italy, France, Germany, Greece, the Eurozone, and the UK.

3.    Chinese manufacturing falls to lowest level for three years with PMI down from 49.8 to 49.6,

4.    The cloud storage industry is to face an investigation following complaints about price rises and storage capacity reductions. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) said some providers may be breaching consumer laws.

5.    Martin Senn is stepping down as chief executive of Zurich after ten years over a failed takeover bid this year for the UK’s RSA group and a series of setbacks in its general insurance business, the Financial Times reports.

6.    Japanese media organization Nikkei will use its $1.3 billion purchase of the Financial Times to build a global digital powerhouse by using data to win new clients and by harnessing the British newspaper's skill at getting subscribers to pay for content, its chairman said.

7.    Christmas tree lights can slow your wi-fi warns watchdog Ofcom as it releases an app that can check home broadband. The app is released alongside research which suggests wi-fi in six million homes and offices is not running as fast as it could do, the BBC reports.

8.    In its pre-close trading update, Merlin Entertainment said business during the 47 weeks to 21 November was in line with expectations.

9.    Hackers have staged cyber-attacks on three Greek banks and demanded a ransom in bitcoins, a virtual monetary unit, to stop their disruption, banking sources said on Monday.

10.    Paysafe, a British payments company known as Optimal Payments admitted on Monday that 7.8 million customers had their account details hacked between 2009-2010.
