As many of you will know all too well, Newcastle's Grainger Market is home to all manner of different stalls, all selling plenty of delicious treats but there is one particular dish that has got the seal of approval from plenty of people at Chronicle HQ.
As a new Mac 'n' Cheese stall opens there, we've reviewed every single place to go for lunch in the Grainger Market and one of the places on the list was Dennis & June's Sandwich Fayre.
They say great things come in small packages and the small stall, as well as serving up loads of different hot and club sandwiches, has something else on its menu you MUST try.
After ordering a chicken tikka sandwich I looked up at the blackboard while it was being prepared and noticed salt & pepper chips for the bargain price of £1.50.
And oh boy I'm glad I spied them as they are, and I'm not even exaggerating here, the best chips I have ever ever had!
I don't know what magical concoction was in the little white tub that the seasoning came out of but it 100% does the job.
The salt & pepper chips from Dennis & June's are without a doubt an absolute taste sensation and on hearing my shout of "oh my god these are amazing!" many colleagues wanted wanted a try and were in firm agreement that they were a gift from the fast food gods!
