Former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann has no doubt in his mind Jude Bellingham will become the next Borussia Dortmund player to be sold for €100million.
Bellingham is currently in his third full season with the German giants and continues to be linked with a move to Anfield. Dortmund were unlikely to part ways with the 19-year-old this summer the moment Erling Haaland was offloaded to Manchester City, with the club understandably reluctant to part ways with two key players in the same transfer window.
It remains to be seen as to whether or not the Reds will make their move for Bellingham next summer. However, the ECHO understands Liverpool are strong admirers of the Birmingham City academy graduate.

After watching former team-mates Haaland and Jadon Sancho earn Premier League moves, there is a strong chance this is a path the England international may too wish to take as he continues his development as a player. It is likely to take a significant transfer fee if Liverpool are to successfully sign Bellingham and would likely surpass the £85m deal done to bring Darwin Nunez to Merseyside.
Hamann is now of the view the midfielder will now follow a similar path to Ousmane Dembele and Sancho by being sold for a sum of €100m (£84m) and had no doubt in his mind when asked which player within the current Dortmund squad is capable of commanding such an extortionate fee. “I think that's the easiest question. That will be Bellingham," he told Wette.
"So what he's shown in the time he's been here is sensational. He came here when he was 17 or 18, showed the lead, really pulled the team along, won important defensive duels and also set accents. Amazing player!”
