'That's enough!' Referee sends Johnny Sexton away for questioning Wales try in Ireland Six Nations clash

Ireland captain Johnny Sexton received a stern answer from referee Roman Poite when questioning the legality of Wales' first half try in Dublin.

After the hosts opened the scoring at the Aviva Stadium, Wales managed to get on the scoreboard in the first half when Alun Wyn Jones threw a lovely offload out of the tackle to send Dan Biggar through.

The No. 10 then fed inside to Tomos Williams for the scrum-half to run it in under the posts.

After a quick check with the TMO for any sign of a forward pass, Poite awarded the try for Wales to take a temporary lead.

But TV cameras panned in as Biggar tied his laces pre-conversion, and Sexton could be seen approaching the man in the middle to seemingly question the validity of the try.

Appearing to refer to the suggestion the ball had gone forward, Sexton can be seen gesticulating and even pointing at Biggar during the exchange.

But Poite was firm, gesturing for the skipper to back away as he told him: "No, that's enough, that's enough, please.

"We checked both."

Wales trailed Ireland 12-7 at half time.
