'That's bogging' Scots butcher leaves punters scratching their heads at MD 20/20 Gold pork sausages

Scots drinkers have been left scratching their heads at a Falkirk butcher’s unusual flavour innovation.

The culinary experts at Patricks of Camelon have caused quite the stir with news of its MD 20/20 Gold pork links.

It's a concept that is fairly self-explanatory - the pork bangers are infused with the new pineapple favour of the popular wine.

A Facebook post showcasing the sausages has sparked the interest of hundreds of punters, who have flocked to the comment section.

One person said: “This could be a shout. Could make the hangover potentially easier.”

Another wrote: “ Sausage and MD, what a combo.”

“Now you’re talking”, said another.

But not everyone has backed the unusual marriage of flavours.

One Facebook user wrote: “Don’t understand what the sausages have got to do with it. Bit of an odd combo.

Another simply said: “That’s bogging.”

It’s not the first time that the experts have toyed with the conventions of food. Buckfast has also been another booze of choice that has been played around with in items such as sausages.

But its easy to see why some are a bit dubious to sample the MD 20/20 bangers - pineapple sausages are not something that you’d see in an everyday menu.
