The West Ham youngster was named in Gareth Southgate's starting line-up for the Euro 2020 qualifier with Kosovo on Tuesday night - his second start in four days for the Three Lions.
Unfortunately for Rice, his biggest impact on the game came in the second half when his costly error gifted the visitors a route back into the game.
While the mistake didn't prove costly, it certainly got fans talking on social media.
Rice has been linked with a big-money move to Manchester United of late, with the Red Devils thought to be keen on paying around £90million for the midfielder.
But as far as supporters are concerned, that seems to be far too much based on Tuesday night's evidence.
