'Thank you Crystal Palace!' - Man United fans can't believe how good Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been

Manchester United fans have found a major positive from their summer in the signing of ex-Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Croydon-born defender, who played as a winger during his youth career, left Selhurst Park for Old Trafford in June for an initial fee of £45million.

He became the most expensive English footballer to have never won an international cap in the process but from watching him make his first steps in his new colours, supporters have been impressed with what they have seen so far.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had won four out of four in their pre-season games prior to coming up against Norwegian side Kristiansund.

After starting off as a substitute in the opening game of the Australian tour as United beat Perth Glory 2-0.

He then started the next fixture, a 4-0 win over Leeds United, during which he set up Mason Greenwood to score.

In Singapore he started again in victories against Inter and Tottenham Hotspur, and looked lively away at Kristiansund.

Fans of the 20-time English champions showered Wan-Bissaka with praise for his performance in Norway, especially given what he showed going forward on the ball - an area of his game that supposed to be a weakpoint compared to his defensive talents.

Palace have even been praised for their role in developing the full-back's talent by supporters this summer.

Manchester United face Crystal Palace at Old Trafford in their first meeting of the 2019/20 season on August 24.

Wan-Bissaka will have to wait until May before he gets the chance to return to Selhurst Park with his new club.
