A dreadful week for Arsenal fans was made a little bit easier on Saturday night.
Supporters saw their side lose the Europa League final to Chelsea on Wednesday and as a result have missed out on Champions League football for a third season in a row.
To make matters worse, arch-rivals Tottenham were competing against Liverpool in the Champions League final at Atletico Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
Arsenal last reached the Champions League final in 2006, where they lost to Barcelona, and the idea of Tottenham winning club football's biggest prize would have been a difficult pill to swallow.
Thankfully for them, that was not the case as Jurgen Klopp's side secured a 2-0 win against Spurs to clinch the European Cup for a sixth time - and it leaves Mauricio Pochettino still waiting for his first trophy as Tottenham boss.
It did not take long for relieved Arsenal fans to take to social media to express their delight at the failings of their oldest and fiercest rivals.
