Thane: Newborn dumped outside medical store in Kalyan

KALYAN: A woman was captured on CCTV leaving a newborn baby outside a medical store in Kalyan (E), early Friday morning.

The shopkeepers in the area heard the baby’s cries and informed the local Manpada police who then rushed him to Rukminibai hospital. The doctor said the baby was healthy and maybe one or two days old. The police have registered an FIR against the unknown person and are investigating the matter.
