Images of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, King Rama IX of the Chakri dynasty, can be seen everywhere in Thailand -- restaurants, shops, government offices, public transport and even on regular homes.

No matter how rich or poor they are, the image of the late King is one item that everyone has as a reminder of his greatness and inspiration to do great things without expecting anything in return -- the way he did throughout his life.
King Bhumibol worked very hard during his reign to improve the livelihoods of his people. Even when he got sick, he still worked just as hard to make sure that his people had a good quality of life.
The late monarch was truly at the centre of the nation with the countless number of good deeds he did for his people.
