Thailand earned a place in the final of the 2017 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship on Wednesday after sweeping South Korea 3-0.
Thai spikers beat the Koreans 25-20, 25-20, 25-21 in the semifinals at the Alonte Sports Arena in Binan, the Philippines.
The Thais looked strong from the beginning against the previously unbeaten South Korean team, and never looked back after winning the first set.
They will face a rematch with favourites Japan in the Asian crown final on Thursday.
Japan beat China in the other semifinal.
Two-time champions Thailand on Monday suffered their first loss of this year’s championship, going down to arch-rivals Japan 3-1 (22-25, 25-20, 25-22, 26-24).
"We have nothing to lose against Japan," Ajcharapogn Kongyot told Thairath TV about the forthcoming match. "We have to play with no pressure and everybody has to reach their full potential."
