BMW Thailand has announced pricing and specs of the all-new 6-series Gran Turismo ahead of a local debut at the 2017 Motor Expo later this month.

The model chosen for the Thai luxury car market is the 630d GT coming with a 3.0-litre diesel-turbo producing 265hp and 620Nm of torque. The CO2 rating of 149g/km has enabled the 630d to enjoy 30% excise tax (not exceeding 150g/km).
As a result, the 630d GT is priced at 4.739 million baht. Only the racy M Sport trim is available highlighting some extra exterior and interior enhancements.
Although the Audi A7 Sportback has just be renewed in second-generation form in Europe, it only has one engine variance so far. The A7 55 TFSI features 340hp 3.0-litre V6 petrol-turbo that would make it more expensive than the 630d GT in Thai showrooms.
Mercedes-Benz, meanwhile, is set to introduce the third-gen CLS in Thailand early next year after a likely world debut at the Los Angeles auto show this year.
In second-gen guise, the CLS250d, equipped with 204hp 2.1-litre diesel-turbo, went for some five million baht available either as a swoopy saloon or estate-style Shooting Brake.
