TGI Fridays to reopen in Edinburgh with new click and collect scheme at Fort Kinnaird

TGI Fridays has announced plans to reopen one of its Edinburgh restaurants with a new click and collect service in place.

Delivery orders will also be available from the restaurant, at Fort Kinnaird, from Wednesday (6 May).

A tailored menu featuring 22 different dishes will be available – with a number of mains, desserts, appetisers and kids' options included.

The click and collect scheme will see customers given the chance to order their food and then choose a slot between 12pm and 9pm for socially distant pick-up. It will be rolled out at 24 different restaurants across the UK, with a Glasgow venue also included.

Robert B. Cook, CEO at TGI Fridays said: “We can’t wait to re-fire the grills in preparation for the launch of our new click and collect service in 24 selected locations.

"These initial sites have been chosen as we either own and can control the car park or the landlord has given us dedicated access. We will also be restoring delivery services at the same locations via Just Eat and Deliveroo, as applicable.

"We will continue to monitor UK Government advice but after an initial trial we aim to extend the rollout as soon as it is safe to do so.”
