TGI Fridays on Buchanan Street becomes first restaurant to offer click and collect walk up service

TGI Fridays has launched its first click and collect walk up service at one of their Glasgow branches.

The Buchanan Street has been selected for the new service.

An impressive 4,000 orders were placed at the restaurant since it reopened on May 6.

Customers will be able to order their food and pay for it online, before collecting it safely from outside their nearest restaurant.

On arrival, guests will be instructed to follow the social distance queuing system and signage and await guidance from Fridays team members on where to collect their order.

Robert B. Cook, CEO at TGI Fridays said: “With lockdown measures easing and continued demand for Fridays Food, Click & Collect Walk Up enables us the opportunity to give more of our loyal fans that Fridays Feeling.

"Following the great success of our Click & Collect service, we are confident that the safety and social distancing measures we have in place enable the safety of our guests and our teams which remains our top priority.”

When completing their order online, customers are able to choose a collection slot between 12pm - 9pm and at this point will be advised on how to collect their food safely.
