TG4 stunned viewers on Saturday night with their Halloween effects during the weather forecast.
Viewers of the channel will have become used to a Halloween surprise after last year's broadcast - and the channel certainly didn't disappoint in 2020.
As weather presenter Caitlín Nic Aoidh summarised the forecasts, a lightning strike saw her vanish into the night's sky.
The presenter left out a roar that is sure to have given many a bit of a fright before the brilliant TV effects.
But viewers loved the playful segment and took to social media to praise the channel.
One said: "TG4 is and has always been an elite broadcaster. One of the few out there with a genuine sense of adventure in everything they do and have a stellar slate of programming."
Another added: "TG4 putting every other channel to shame, as per."
