TfL Tube delays: Finsbury Park station 'evacuated' as 'customer incident' sparks severe delays

Passengers are facing severe delays on two Tube lines after a customer incident near Finsbury Park station.

Commuters on the Victoria line are facing severe delays at rush hour after the line was partly suspended, with no service between Walthamstow Central and Kings Cross.

The customer incident also led to severe delays on the London Overground between Stratford and Richmond.

Pictures from Finsbury Park show a number of police cars outside the station alongside an ambulance, with people on social media suggesting the station has been evacuated.

One Twitter user wrote: “People at Finsbury Park are being told to leave the station immediately due to an emergency. Tube not stopping there at the moment.”

"Finsbury Park Station evacuated. Multiple police vehicles and medics outside," another said.

A spokesman for Transport for London said: “We have no service between Walthamstow Central and Kings Cross. There are also severe delays on the rest of the line due to a customer incident.

“Tickets will be accepted on London buses.”
