Texas woman claims cemetery made terrible mistake when ‘burying sister’ in family plot

  • A Texas woman, Clota Rainey, is suing Paradise Funeral Home & Cemetery for seven-figure damages after a stranger was interred in her family plot instead of her late sister, Willie Jean Gamble.
  • Willie Jean Gamble, who died in April 2024, was meant to be buried next to her parents but her body was placed in storage, where it severely deteriorated, after the mix-up.
