What’s Going To Happen
Louisiana still has to deal with a whole slew of big games ahead, but at the moment it’s tied for the lead in the Sun Belt West race with the lone league loss to Appalachian State.
The offense is among the best in the country in rushing, the offense is the Sun Belt’s most productive, and all five wins have been blowouts.
Texas State is trying to get the offense going under new head coach Jake Spavital, and the potential is there to get this rolling down the road, but the O isn’t there yet.
The downfield passing game isn’t there for the Bobcats, and there isn’t enough of a rushing attack to balance things out. Worst of all, the run defense isn’t active enough – it can’t stop the run.
The Bobcats have allowed 200 rushing yards or more in every FBS game but one – allowing 190 to Wyoming.
The Ragin’ Cajuns will run wild.
