Texans WR Kenny Stills, QB Deshaun Watson are quickly building chemistry

Kenny Stills has been a member of the Houston Texans for less than a month. However, his play on the field and chemistry with quarterback Deshaun Watson would say the opposite.

With Watson throwing the ball, Stills has racked up nine receptions for 164 yards and a touchdown. The two, despite limited playing time with each other, are quickly building a rapport.

For Stills, their already developed chemistry stems from Watson, who makes it easy for newbies to get comfortable.

“He’s a great quarterback and it makes it really easy for guys to come in and make plays, I think,” Stills told reporters Thursday. “I don’t think it’s anything I’m doing, it’s just a matter of that he’s a really good kid, he knows what he’s doing, he knows how to throw the ball, he’s had a lot of success and I just do whatever he asks me to do.”

Stills’ developed chemistry with Watson is paying off. The two are comfortable playing together; it shows on the field. However, they are far from done, as Stills has the opportunity to continue to grow his role in the offense and trust in Watson.
