Texans with 12th-best odds to win Super Bowl LIV

Believe it: the Houston Texans have the 12th-best odds to win the Super Bowl.

According to BetMGM, the AFC South champions from a season ago are +2500 to win the Super Bowl in Miami. The odds represent the fourth-best among AFC teams.

  4. Cowboys (+1200)
  5. Saints (+1400)
  6. Packers (+1600)
  7. Eagles (+1600)
  8. Bears (+1800)

  12. Texans (+2500)

It is interesting to note the Texans are the highest favored AFC South team to win the Super Bowl. Given the hype that continues to surround the Indianapolis Colts, who have managed a 2-1 record in spite of franchise quarterback Andrew Luck retiring, one would figure the odds-makers would have the Colts as the top AFC South club to win the Super Bowl. Instead, the Colts are tied with the Detroit Lions for 18th with +4000 odds.
