Texans trade for Dolphins LT Laremy Tunsil, WR Kenny Stills

And just like that, everything changed.

The Houston Texans have agreed to a trade with the Miami Dolphins for left tackle Laremy Tunsil and wide receiver Kenny Stills. In return, Houston will send two future first-round draft picks and one second-round pick, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The trade comes at the end of an eventful day for coach Bill O’Brien and his staff of de facto general managers.

Previously, the team traded away three-time Pro Bowler Jadeveon Clowney to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a 2020 third-round pick and linebackers Barkevious Mingo and Jacob Collins.

The Texans also sent guard Martinas Rankin to Kansas City for running back Carlos Hyde, and shipped a 2020 sixth-round pick to New England for cornerback Keion Crossen.

It’s been a roller coaster, franchise-altering day for the Texans and their fan base. One can consider it to be teams taking advantage of a weaker AFC South after the retirement of Andrew Luck last weekend.

But wait, there’s more.

Complicated indeed.
