Houston Texans safety Justin Reid headed for the locker room after being helped by trainers Sunday versus the Los Angeles Chargers at Rokit Field at Dignity Health Sports Park.
The second-year safety needed help earlier in the game, and he was listed on the injury report as having a shoulder injury throughout the week. However, he was a full participant in all three practices.
Nonetheless, the Texans’ young, bright safety is not on the field for them in a critical fourth quarter as they seek to hold onto a 21-17 lead that could send them to 2-1 for the first time since 2016 if it holds.
