Texans RT Tytus Howard being evaluated for a concussion

Houston Texans right tackle Tytus Howard is being evaluated for a concussion.

The former 2019 first-round pick sustained a hit early in the second quarter and needed attention from the trainers. Howard walked off under his own power, but he was evaluated for a concussion.

The Texans are trailing the Indianapolis Colts 14-0 in the second quarter at Lucas Oil Stadium. Quarterback Deshaun Watson has taken two sacks thus far with Howard in the game.

Roderick Johnson replaced Howard at right tackle.

Houston is 4-9 on the season and eliminated from the playoffs. The Colts need the win to keep their hopes alive to win the AFC South.
