Texans receiver Keke Coutee carted off field versus Packers

The only defender good enough to stop the Houston Texans’ receiving corps is their own availability issues.

Second-year receiver Keke Coutee was carted off the field after sustaining an injury early in the second quarter of Thursday night’s preseason game at the Green Bay Packers.

Coutee had just caught a nine-yard pass on first-and-10 to lead the Texans to Houston’s 48-yard line.

The former 2018 fourth-round pick from Texas Tech wasn’t have the best of nights to begin with as his bobbled punt return in the first quarter led to the Packers’ opening score of the game and the Texans’ 7-0 deficit.

In 2018, Coutee played in six regular season games due to chronic hamstring issues.
