Houston Texans running back Lamar Miller may not be in a position to contribute on the gridiron this season after tearing his ACL in the third preseason game, but he continues to demonstrate his presence in the local community.
On Saturday, Oct. 26 the Pro Bowler and former Miami Dolphin will be attending the “Green Carpet” event to celebrate the opening of a new Dick’s Sporting Goods store at 336 Marketplace in Conroe, Texas. In the spirit of Halloween, Miller will be dressed as an associate for his “costume.”
Miller will be on hand to welcome young local athletes from 1:00-1:25 p.m., following which will be available for autographs between 1:30-3:00 p.m., Attendees will need to wear a wristband for this portion.
During the event, the budding athletes will be given the chance to experience being welcomed like a professional athlete.
The first 100 young stars to arrive at the “Green Carpet” will have an opportunity to receive a gift back with swag and items for trick-or-treating safety.
