Texans RB Duke Johnson questionable to return versus Chiefs

The Houston Texans running back stable is already taking on some availability issues.

Running back Duke Johnson left the game late in the third quarter with a leg injury. The team said Johnson is questionable to return with a leg injury. Johnson left the sidelines and went into the locker room.

Johnson provided five carries for 14 yards and had just one target.

David Johnson had trainers looking at him late in the third quarter. NBC Sports’ Michele Tafoya said they were looking at his wrist, but Johnson returned to the game.

The Texans have running backs Buddy Howell and Scottie Phillips as backups.
