Texans QB Deshaun Watson says his vision is perfect

Much has been said about Deshaun Watson’s blood-shot, swollen left eye. However, all that really matters is that — no matter the appearance or thought of wearing a visor — the Houston Texans quarterback is good to go for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, England.

On Friday, at London Irish’s Hazelwood Training Base, Watson wore a clear Oakley visor to protect his left eye in practice. Last week, against the Oakland Raiders, he was kicked in the eye by defensive end Arden Key

After practice, Watson affirmed that his vision is perfectly fine.

“It’s red right now, it’s a little swollen,” said Watson on Friday. “I have my vision and everything. I took a vision test and everything was great.”

The third-year quarterback said that the flight from Houston to London did not harm his recovery. Watson, barring an unforeseen setback, will be playing in the divisional tilt at Wembley Stadium.
