The sports world was floored on Sunday when news broke of Kobe Bryant’s death in a helicopter crash. The five-time NBA champion was 41 years old.
Houston Texans players took to Twitter on Sunday and expressed their shock and sorrow.
“Can’t be true. Just can’t be true. Truly truly horrific,” defensive end J.J. Watt tweeted. “Rest In Peace Kobe.”
“Man are serious,” safety Justin Reid tweeted. “Please let the be fake news.”
“Damn life is to short,” defensive tackle D.J. Reader tweeted with the hashtag #ripblackmamba.
Running back Lamar Miller’s simple tweet summed up what everyone felt when they found out the tragic news.
And cornerback Bradley Roby also perfectly encapsulated everyone’s sympathy.
