Texans place DE Jonathan Greenard on COVID-19 reserve, activate Jordan Jenkins from injured reserve

The Houston Texans have had COVID-19 hit their active roster once more.

The Texans are placing defensive end Jonathan Greenard on the COVID-19 reserve. The former 2020 third-round pick, who leads the Texans with 8.0 sacks, will be out against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15.

Houston is getting some help back along the defensive line. The Texans have activated defensive end Jordan Jenkins from injured reserve. Jenkins was placed on the reserve with a torn posterior cruciate ligament after the Week 9 win over the Tennessee Titans.

The Texans kickoff against the Jaguars Sunday at 12:00 p.m. Central Time from TIAA Bank Field in a Week 1 rematch of two 2-11 squads.
