Texans place 3 more players on COVID-19 reserve

The Houston Texans have placed three players on COVID-19 reserve.

Houston will have challenges in the secondary Sunday as they have placed safety Terrence Brooks and cornerback Terrance Mitchell on COVID-19 reserve.

Brooks was already on the injury report with a hamstring injury that kept him out of Wednesday’s practice. Similarly Mitchell did not practice Wednesday with an ankle/knee issue.

Defensive back Cre’von LeBlanc was placed on the COVID-19 practice squad list.

Houston faces the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15 to close out their season series. The Texans beat the Jaguars in Week 1 37-21 at NRG Stadium. Jacksonville is working through their own issues as they fired Urban Meyer early Thursday morning.
