Texans place $2 million tender on linebacker Brennan Scarlett

The Houston Texans are sticking to their philosophy of taking care of in-house before adding to the house.

According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the Texans have placed a $2 million tender on linebacker Brennan Scarlett.

The former Stanford Cardinal who was undrafted in 2016 has been a decent role player for the Texans. In 30 career games, eight of which he has started, Scarlett produced 54 combined tackles, 2.0 sacks, an interception, three pass breakups, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

With the tendering of Scarlett, the Texans now have all of their restricted free agents tendered.
