While the Houston Texans are chasing a spot in the NFL playoffs, the Houston Astros are already in the MLB playoffs.
Sitting at No. 1 (107-55) in the AL West with a star-studded squad, the Astros begin their push to win their second World Series in two years on Friday, with their opponent to be determined.
A few on the Texans already know the result of the Astros’ appearance in the playoffs: a World Series win.
Said outside linebacker Whitney Mercilus, via The Checkdown: “I have my Houston Astros winning it all!!!! Dream team baby! Just look at our roster we stacked with str8t dawgs.”
Safety Justin Reid is also a believer, saying: “Astros, no doubt about it…”
Those residing in Houston aren’t the only predicting the ‘Stros to win it all. Cleveland Browns teammates wide receiver Jarvis Landry and quarterback Baker Mayfield also have the Astros winning. So does San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Dante Pettis and Tennessee Titans linebacker Joshua Kalu, according to The Checkdown.
