The Houston Texans were thin at outside linebacker coming into their Week 9 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the depth issues just keep getting worse.
Brennan Scarlett is questionable to return to the game with an arm injury, the Texans announced.
The Texans already had outside linebackers Jacob Martin and Whitney Mercilus on the COVID-19 reserve ahead of the game. Even a support role that could have been carved out with inside linebacker Dylan Cole’s presence was compromised as he was also placed on the reserve.
The Texans lead 10-7 at the start of the second quarter.
