The Houston Texans had a visitor on the second day of mandatory minicamp Wednesday as Houston Cougars football coach Dana Holgorsen was a spectator on the sidelines.
Holgorsen was previously the football coach at West Virginia from 2011-18, and takes over for Major Applewhite, who is now with the Alabama Crimson Tide on Nick Saban’s staff.
For the second consecutive day, the Texans practiced inside the bubble at Methodist Training Center.
Watson continued to work with the young receivers and give them valuable reps as All-Pro DeAndre Hopkins and former 2016 first-round pick Will Fuller continue to rehab.
The special teams continued to show improvement under second-year special teams coordinator Brad Seely.
And that’s it. Now begin the last of the offseason doldrums until training camp kicks off in Houston.
