Texans LT Laremy Tunsil reacts to Deshaun Watson’s fumble-run

Early in the Houston Texans’ 53-32 win over the Atlanta Falcons, quarterback Deshaun Watson found himself needing to get a first on 3rd-and -7. He did just that, oddly.

After seeing nothing downfield, Watson scrambled, only to fumble the ball. In his typical wizard-like self, he picked it up and ran for the first down himself.

His blindside protector, left tackle Laremy Tunsil, was amazed by the play.

“I was right there and I was like there is no way he picked this up and got a first down,” Tunsil told reporters after the game. “He’s a magician man, he’s a magician.”

Watson had a career day on Sunday, posting a 158.3 passer rating while throwing for 426 yards and five touchdowns with just five incompletions. However, in Tunsil’s eyes, “every day is a day for him.”

Tunsil deserves to pat himself on the back. The 25-year-old left tackle led a Texans offensive line that allowed no sacks, no quarterback hits, and just one hurry.
