Texans leave 2 RBs, 2 CBs behind in Houston for Week 15

The Houston Texans will be without two of their running backs and two of their cornerbacks as they gear up to take on the Indianapolis Colts Sunday at 12:00 p.m. CT at Lucas Oil Stadium.

As the team departed Houston for Indianapolis, the club announced running backs Duke Johnson (neck) and C.J. Prosise (ankle) along with cornerbacks Phillip Gaines (knee) and rookie John Reid (neck) will not travel with the team for the Week 15 rematch.

The Texans are getting some help back in the offensive backfield as David Johnson returns from his one-game absence due to being placed on COVID-19 reserve. However, the Texans’ secondary could be reeling against the Colts, especially after they placed safety Justin Reid on injured reserve earlier in the week.
