When the Houston Texans lost to the New Orleans Saints 30-28 Monday night at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, it wouldn’t surprise anyone that quarterback Deshaun Watson ended up on the injury report.
However, another key cog of the Texans’ passing game, All-Pro wideout DeAndre Hopkins, did end up on the injury report. Hopkins was limited in practice Wednesday with a rib injury.

Watson was on the injury report with a back injury, possibly sustained on his touchdown run to give the Texans a 7-0 lead in the second quarter. However, the Pro Bowl field general was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.

The Jaguars had four players who did not participate in practice, including defensive end Yannick Ngakoue (hamstring) and defensive lineman Calais Campbell (foot). Defensive tackle Marcell Dareus (elbow) was listed as a limited participant.
