Houston Texans inside linebacker Peter Kalambayi has been ruled out for the team’s Week 3 dust-up with the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday at 12:00 p.m. CT at Heinz Field.
Kalambayi is a solid special teams contributor. The former 2018 sixth-round played 16 special teams snaps for the Texans in the 34-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1. Kalambayi was ruled out against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2 with a hamstring injury.
The hamstring injury persists as the 6-3, 254-pound linebacker was listed as questionable against the Steelers. Kalambayi was a limited participant in all three of the Texans’ practices this week.
