The 2019 NFL season is over the horizon, and it is almost time to kick off the most competitive virtual league in sports, fantasy football. If one is looking to make a huge splash within the first-round, Houston Texans All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is the way to go.
In their annual Fantasy Top 50 count down, Hopkins came in as the number one ranked receiver according to the NFL Fantasy Football Twitter account. After recording one of his best individual seasons with 115 receptions for 1,572 yards and 11 touchdowns, Hopkins led all receivers in fantasy points with 333.5 in 2018.
Hopkins’ fantasy ranking is his latest recognition as the league’s best receiver. EA Sports’ Madden NFL 20, awarded Hopkins as one of four players with a 99 rating, and the only offensive player to achieve the feat in the football simulation video game. NFL Network’s, Adam Rank, also ranked Hopkins as the league’s top wideout in his edition of the Top Fantasy Football players heading into the 2019 season.
