Texans’ DeAndre Hopkins is the undisputed No. 1 receiver in fantasy football

This will not come as a surprise to many NFL and fantasy football fans. The Houston Texans have one of if not the best WR in the game today in DeAndre Hopkins.

Not only is Hopkins in a league of his own, but the former Clemson Tiger had zero drops last season — zero. That is very impressive.

While Hopkins who hauled in 1,572 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns, Hopkins has only had two season in his six years in the NFL where he has not reached over 1,000 receiving.

What’s even more impressive is Hopkins has finished as the number one wideout in fantasy football PPR formats in 2017 with 311.8 points and also in 2018 with 337.5 points.

According to Pro Football Focus, over the last two seasons Hopkins has a combined 649.3 points in PPR and the next receiver that is even remotely close is Antonio Brown with 638.2 points combined from 2017 and 2018.

With a much better offensive line on the horizon for the Texans as well as a special dynamic quarterback in Deshaun Watson, 2019 should be another elite year for Hopkins.
