Texans DE J.J. Watt and brothers produce ‘Ultimate Tag’ show for FOX

Add game show production as another avenue where Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt will try his hand.

The three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year announced on Twitter Monday that he will be the executive producer and host of “Ultimate Tag,” a game show that will be coming to FOX television in early 2020.

The project could be considered a family effort as brothers Derek Watt, fullback for the Los Angeles Chargers, and T.J. Watt, outside linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, are also hosts on the program.

Watt says his new show, “takes a childhood game to extreme levels, with insane obstacles & incredible athletes.” There is no word yet on any NFL players or Texans teammates will be among the contestants.
