Texans bring in Arkansas Razorbacks tackle Brian Wallace for a visit

The Houston Texans continue to evaluate the offensive line talent available in the 2019 NFL draft that commences on April 25.

The latest of the club’s 30 visits to meet with the team was former Arkansas Razorbacks offensive tackle Brian Wallace, according to a report from the Houston Chronicle’s Aaron Wilson.

Wallace would be a mountain of a man to play on the outside for Houston, standing at 6-6 and weighing 320 pounds. According to team statistics, Wallace started every game for the Hogs and allowed just three sacks in 411 snaps as a pass-blocker in 2018.

Wallace doesn’t even register on Walter Football’s list of top offensive tackles in the draft. Bringing in Wallace for a visit doesn’t mean the Texans are going to go cheap at tackle, but rather that they are seeing what priority free agents may be available once the draft ends on April 27.
