Utility Sam Flanders wants to leave Gold Coast, hoping for a move to his native Victoria during the AFL trade period.
Flanders, who was pick 11 in the 2019 draft, has told the Suns he wants out, despite being contracted for another two seasons.
The 89-gamer, who enjoyed a breakout season playing at half-back, has been linked to several clubs in Victoria, including Collingwood, Carlton and St Kilda.
"Sam expressed an interest in exploring other opportunities for next year at today's exit meeting," Gold Coast's list manager Craig Cameron said in a statement on Tuesday.
Cameron said the Suns would seek to trade goalsneak Malcolm Rosas, who was starved of AFL opportunities this season.
Rosas, who played just four AFL games this year, is believed to be a target of Sydney and Richmond.
Meanwhile, Adam Treloar's encouraging late-season form has earned the All-Australian another contract at the Western Bulldogs.
After his first All-Australian selection last year, the 32-year-old midfielder endured a disastrous season.
Persistent calf injuries restricted Treloar to just four senior games, leading to speculation his time might be up as the Dogs narrowly missed the finals.
But Treloar has made a successful VFL return, helping their affiliates Footscray beat Box Hill to reach the grand final this Sunday against Southport.
"There is a lot of unfinished business from a personal and team perspective," Treloar, a 258-game veteran, said in a statement.
The Bulldogs have some bid list calls to make after their frustrating season, in particular the future of key forward and No.1 draft pick Jamarra Ugle-Hagan.
He did not play any AFL this year and spent time away from the club because of personal issues.
Also, Adelaide veteran Taylor Walker is still weighing up his future after his exit meeting with club hierarchy on Tuesday.
"I don't really have a timeline on it, to be honest," the 35-year-old told reporters.
Adelaide informed 120-gamer Lachlan Murphy he won't be offered a new contract, ending the 26-year-old's career at West Lakes.
The Crows also told Irish rookie Karl Gallagher, who didn't play an AFL game, he won't get a fresh deal.
