Can't wait for the main Christmas market to start in Princes Street Gardens?
Teviot Row House in Bristo Square is hosting its own Christmas market as its festive lights are turned on.
The event takes place on Friday, November 8 a few days before the main Light Night celebration where Edinburgh's Christmas season formally begins.
Santa Claus will turn on the building's lights while drummers from Clanadonia will provide the music.
There's a winter garden outside Teviot which will be serving drinks, hot snacks and street food.
While Teviot Row House is used as a student union building at the University of Edinburgh the Christmas garden will be open to everyone.
Organisers say: "Kick-off the holiday season with a night of festive fun in the Winter Garden, Teviot Row House!
"We've got live entertainment to get you in the holiday spirit and a special guest appearance by Santa to do the honours and switch on the Christmas lights at Teviot, followed by a Christmas sing-a-long with a live band!"
