More than 100 golfers turned out to celebrate the "remarkable" achievement of Cochrane Castle head pro Alan Logan.
Last week marked Logan's 20th year at the Johnstone club, with fellow PGA professionals Gerry Riley and Stuart Kerr helping to organise a testimonial event recently to mark the occasion.
Riley helped train Logan through his PGA qualifications around 30 years ago, and he was delighted to see such a huge turnout which he believes shows just how well respected Logan is throughout the golfing fraternity in Renfrewshire and Scotland.
Riley told Express Sport: "It was an incredible day and a brilliant turnout of 120 golfers.
"Titleist also showed up with their ball-fitting experience, which shows how well he is respected in the industry in Scotland.
"Unfortunately the weather was pretty horrible. It was so windy, although it did remain dry which is always a positive on the golf course.
"Alan is quite a quiet fella and doesn't like too much attention. We had to twist his arm just to have the testimonial, but he really enjoyed it and I think he was a wee bit overwhelmed with how many people turned up just for him.
"In the modern world it's a huge achievement to have dedicated so much time to one place. It's a remarkable achievement and we're all proud of how well he has done over the years."
