The recent “declaration” by Pakistan of an OIC meeting to discuss India’s domestic agenda indicates another strategy to “bleed India through a thousand cuts”. Despite India’s various attempts to strengthen ties with West Asian countries, this baffling manoeuvre, if true, calls into question the reach of Indian diplomacy. There needs to be a calibrated approach in diplomacy to counter these moves (Editorial, January 1).
