Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Season 4 is out today, wrapping up the game’s first year, bringing a free update for all players. It introduces new content like the Casino, new cars and additional races. The update also delivers noticeable quality of life upgrades, including full customization of the in-game HUD.
A fan favorite from Test Drive Unlimited 2, the Casino returns and is now available as a social space for up to 32 players. It lets players spend virtual currency on activities like slot machines, with poker expected to arrive in a mid-season update. The Casino also offers new cosmetics for both avatars and cars, along with a special car reserved for the luckiest winners. Season 4 also raises the reputation cap from level 60 to 70.
Season 4 adds a mix of fresh content and gameplay tweaks, including new cars and the debut of Stock Races. These events include 20 new races across Hong Kong Island and Ibiza, plus 20 reworked races where only unmodified, factory stock cars are allowed to compete.
Players will notice a number of quality of life upgrades this season. The HUD can now be fully customized and a new Group Ping feature makes it easier to coordinate with others by letting players share up to four GPS routes. Cars with spoilers now take advantage of Active Aero, a system that better simulates realistic aerodynamic behavior.
The Solar Pass introduces two progression paths: one free for all players and one premium track tied to Diamonds, the game’s new currency. Owners of Silver or Gold editions receive a token to unlock the premium pass, with Gold owners also getting 20 bonus levels. As Season 4 closes out Year 1, the team is shifting focus to Year 2, working on new content and ongoing improvements, while looking into features like crossplay, offline mode and technical upgrades across platforms.
