Tess Daly wears a 'dress of dreams' on Strictly Come Dancing - and she looks incredible

Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly looked picture perfect as she stepped into Movie Week in a multi-coloured 'dress of dreams.'

Tess, 50, dazzled in the long rainbow gown on the BBC dance contest , and fans rushed to praise the stunning wardrobe choice.

The mother-of-two from Stockport showed off the dress on Instagram ahead of the live show to celebrate the best of Hollywood.

"Yes we are DANCING #movienight #strictly," she said, swishing her gown in the video post.

"Tess Daly's dress is amazing and suits her beautifully. I'd wear it, for sure," said one fan.

"Tess Daly’s dress on strictly is incredible," praised another on Twitter.

"Somebody tell me where I can buy that amazing dress Tess is wearing?" gasped another.

And another enthused: "YES TESS!! Dress of dreams."

The TV star and model has hosted Strictly since 2004.

She presented the programme with the late Bruce Forsyth until he left the show in 2013 and now co-hosts with Claudia Winkleman.

Earlier this year she wowed fans by sharing a holiday snap and some inspirational words on Instagram to mark her 50th birthday.

Pictured in a white bikini top and pink shorts holding balloons on a beach in the Maldives she told fans that she'll 'never regret getting older.'

She wrote: "I got to celebrate my (biiiig!) birthday soaking up the sunshine in the beautiful Maldives; which felt like the perfect place to also celebrate feeling another year older, wiser and more grateful because as you mature you understand more that it’s not about what you own - or what you look like but so much MORE about the people you love and the person you’ve become."

She added: "And one thing I’ll never regret is growing older as it’s a privilege denied to many."
