Tess Daly confuses Strictly fans with her latest look as others say it's one of her best

Tess Daly wowed fans with another polished look on tonight's Strictly Come Dancing.

The TV host from Stockport dazzled in a sparkling black dress with thigh split and eye-catching bow detail high collar.

She completed her overall look on the BBC One dance show with her blonde tresses pulled back into a ponytail and it was a winner with many fans.

But others took to social media to say they were confused, pointing out that they usually expect to see her co-host Claudia Winkeman in black not Tess.

"It feels weird seeing Claudia in red and Tess in black usually it's reverse," one tweeted.

"Tess never wears black," said another.

And as they pointed out that all the judges were also in black, another fan remarked: "I noticed that too. I wondered if they're paying tribute to someone or someone has died."

The compliments poured in for the chic look on Twitter, with one saying: "Tess’ stylist has really upped his game."

"Ooooh doesn't Tess look delish," tweeted another.

"Okay but is anyone else getting @OfficialSteps 90s vibes from Tess' outfit??" asked another.

And another gushed: "Tess's excellent pony tail is what I strive for daily."

Over on Instagram one follower said: "Oh Tess that must be one of my favourite looks on you!"

And another remarked: "This is a supercool look on you more please!!!"

Yesterday Tess shared a throwback snap to herself and her fellow TV presenter husband Vernon Kay from 17 years ago.

She wrote: "Flashback to these young things! Who would have thought I was pregnant with my eldest who’s 17 in a few weeks! Time flies."

Fans haven't been able to get over that mother-of-two Tess is 52.

"She never ages!" exclaimed one fan on Twitter.

"Tess Daly is 52, she looks beyond amazing!!!" commented another.
